Every session is collaborative and carefully guided, with attention to line, movement, lighting, and expression. Sessions are available in the studio and on location throughout the Phoenix area.
A two-hour guided dance portrait session designed for dancers who want polished, expressive images for Instagram, auditions, portfolios, websites, and personal branding.
The session includes time to warm up, refine poses, adjust lighting, and create images that show strength, line, technique, personality, and style. Near the end of the session, we’ll review the images together and select your favorites before you leave.

Session Fee: $300
Studio sessions take place in a boutique photography studio designed for polished dance portraits. The studio includes professional lighting, clean backdrops, a private changing room, space for parents to sit, refreshments, and a tethered capture workflow so we can review images on a large monitor during the session.
It gives dancers room to warm up, change outfits comfortably, experiment, refine poses, and see what we’re creating as we go.

From the first message to final delivery, the session is designed to feel guided, collaborative, and easy to understand.
Start by sending an inquiry through the website or Instagram. Tell me a little about the dancer, what kind of images you’re hoping to create, and whether you’re thinking studio, outdoor, audition, portfolio, social media, or something more creative.
Before the session, dancers are welcome to share inspiration, outfit ideas, color palettes, lighting styles, favorite images, or even just a general mood. You do not need to have every pose planned — sharing a few ideas simply helps me understand the look you’re drawn to.
The session is guided from start to finish. We’ll take time to warm up, ease into posing and movement, adjust lighting, and refine the details as we go so the images show strength, line, personality, and style.
Near the end of the session, we’ll review the images together. You’ll choose your favorite images with guidance before you leave, so the final edited images are based on the strongest looks from the session.
After the session, your selected images are professionally edited and delivered through a private online download link, usually within 1–2 weeks.
I’m Joseph, the photographer behind F2 Photography. I’m drawn to dance because it brings strength, precision, emotion, and individuality together in a way few art forms can.
During a session, I work closely with each dancer to refine poses, explore movement, and create images that feel true to their style. Some dancers arrive with a full list of ideas; others want more direction. Both approaches are welcome.
My goal is to create a relaxed, professional experience where dancers feel comfortable experimenting—and leave with portraits they’re genuinely excited to share.
