Every session is collaborative and carefully guided, with attention to line, movement, lighting, and expression. Sessions are available in the studio and on location throughout the Phoenix area.

Meet the photographer

I’m Joseph, the photographer behind F2 Photography. I’m drawn to dance because it brings strength, precision, emotion, and individuality together in a way few art forms can.

During a session, I work closely with each dancer to refine poses, explore movement, and create images that feel true to their style. Some dancers arrive with a full list of ideas; others want more direction. Both approaches are welcome.

My goal is to create a relaxed, professional experience where dancers feel comfortable experimenting—and leave with portraits they’re genuinely excited to share.

One session, built around your goals

F2 Photography sessions begin at two hours, giving us time to refine poses, adjust lighting, explore different looks, and build in moments of rest between demanding movements.

Within that time, we can create studio portraits, outdoor or desert images, audition and portfolio photographs, or something more creative.

Longer sessions are available for dancers who want additional outfit changes, more complex concepts, or time to include a sibling, friend, or pas de deux partner.We’ll plan the session together around the images you want to create.
